The ancient man was a druid named Torimesh, he created Insight Park and planted the Drawing Tree. He is glad that someone is finally doing something about the bodies turning up at the park. A search of the body dumped by the dead 3 cultists reveals it to be John Torb, a refugee from Elturel that you met on the road. He had infernal symbols carved into his skin and forged paperwork allowing him to reside in the city.

After getting to know you all Torimesh explains that the Drawing Tree can give glimpses of possible futures and you all receive a secret vision. Elmire samples a little bit of everyone's blood and reveals her unique vampiric ancestry.

As day breaks you report your progress on the investigation to Flame Zodge at the Basilisks Gate. He confirms the papers are indeed forged and suggests following up with his contact. Barnabus uses his bardic charm to get two amendment to your contracts.
1. Necklaces of the followers of the dead three can be turned in for a 5 gold bounty each.
2. He reluctantly gives you a document to exchange for 6 packets of smokepowder at Felogyr's Fireworks.

On your way back to your property you stop and pick up some food. Elmire buys most of a goat, Tauriel gets the biggest loaf of bread possible and some cheese, Barnabus gets a few slices of dried meat and Valeria gets some pastries.

As you pass by a bustling square you overhear a town crier yelling snippets of news and selling papers. The paper has the following stories.

1. Curse Breaker Matreous is the saviour of Greenest.
2. Grand Duke and Marshall of the Flaming Fists Ulder Ravengard went on a diplomacy mission to Elturel when the city was destroyed or lost. Meaning that Baldurs Gate is without its most powerful member of the council of 4 and the Flaming Fists is currently leaderless.
3. A bounty of 100 GP for information leading to the capture of vampires or vampire spawn within the city, signed by Gauntlet W. Wright. He can be found at the Seatower of Balduran.
4. Advertisements for business (Eastway Expeditions, Sorcerous Sundries, The Wide night market, and the Builders Guild)

You catch the children on their way out. You make them a quick breakfast before they go and you all bed down by the fire for a much needed rest.
